Simple Church: St. Matthew is seeking to simplify for the sake of Jesus’ missional commands to us to be and make disciples. We are in the process now of taking a hard look at what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and to be used by Him to make disciples. Keep up with our progress here.
Here are some things we want to make sure you are aware of:
Does Everyone Really Need Jesus Christ As Their Savior?
Someone once said that the church is the only organization in the history of the world that exists for the sake of its non-members. That’s right – the whole reason we do what we do is that we want you to experience the love of Jesus. Regardless of the path you have walked to this point, please know there is an opportunity for new beginnings and new growth. God never changes, never betrays and never becomes indifferent. God never regrets any good thing he has ever done for you. What a revelation! Despite our fast-paced world littered with brokenness, there is a place to find peace and purpose. There are some things I hope you will notice about St. Matthew Lutheran Church. We care a lot about people here. We learned that from Jesus, who, no matter how large the crowd, always found time for individuals and their needs. We also care deeply about those who don’t know Jesus, the poor, and the hurting. We learned that from Jesus, too. Take a look around our site. After looking at us, we hope that you’ll want to join us in worship and service. But mostly, we hope you will experience a place where you can grow. We hope you will experience Jesus…

Preparing for Worship: Worship is God’s act–God’s service to us– even more than it is our act toward God. So we come to church prepared for God to act. Each week, usually by Thursday, we post helpful ways for you to prepare for the coming weekend’s worship. You can find that here.
