A Christmas Festival Service with Holy Communion

Quiet Christmas is a musical celebration of Christmas involving the musicians and singers from St. Matthew Lutheran, Grace International and Total Praise. It includes American favorites as well as African songs of Christmas.

dwelling will hold three special worship services outside at Huset Park in Colubia Heights (40th and Jefferson).  We will meet in the east side of the park, just off Huset Parkway (Jefferson) once a month this summer.

Come early for dinner - we will begin grilling hamburgers at 5:00 pm.

The other weeks, we will meet at our normal location at St. Matthew.

This Sunday evening worship opportunity is designed for those looking for worship that is designed to be a simple, deep, restful experience.  Each time we meet, dwelling includes a time after worship for fellowship, discussion, sharing, and questions.  Although this new worship opportunity was designed with younger adults in mind, any are welcome.  Especially with summer approaching, if you are ever out of town and miss Saturday or Sunday morning worship, you are welcome at dwelling.  Please join us this weekend – 6:30 pm – we’d love to have you!

On Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9, St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights will be holding a large garage sale with donations from over 100 people. Items available include clothing, books, electronics, music, furniture, and more. All sales help support our teen ministry programs and their summer trip to Florida where teens will gather with over 30000 other teens from around the world for worship, learning, service and more. In addition, part of the group will work with local service organizations in the running of a children’s day program for poor and homeless children. The sale will be open from 4-7 pm on Friday and 8 am – 3 pm on Saturday.
