Those are our theme verses for education this year at St. Matthew. Each week, in different groups and in different ways we will be seeking to hear God’s teaching and listen to His words.
The education hour is every Sunday morning from 9:30 to 10:30. Here is a summary of our Fall classes:
Both Children and Adults and adults will be looking at the Parables of Jesus. The children will take a very hands-on interactive approach using crafts, food, story time and other activities. The adults will be using a small group and large group setting to get at the truths of the parables and learn to apply them to our lives.
Our youth (7-12 grades) will meet during their Sunday morning Bible Study time for a more in-depth discussion of one or more of the readings used in our worship time. This will be a chance to dialog about the readings, the message, and more - all from a teen perspective.
