We all go through times that we need to be cared for, listened to or comforted.
Paul wrote to the Corinthians, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). St. Matthew is a caring community where we learn to care for others during crisis and life changes.
One way we do so is through our Parish Nurse.
A parish nurse is a trained RN who cares for people’s health while also tending to their spiritual, social, and other needs. If you would like to visit with the parish nurse, contact Kathy.rosenberg@Stmatthew-ch.org.
